While work continues on behind the scenes making preparations for the Tranzfuser 2018 competition, the UK Games Talent and Finance (UKGTF) team has hosted screening events of the Tranzfuser Documentary in both London and Dundee.
Special guests from across the creative industries were invited to join us to watch the 30-minute long film. Produced by Hark Pictures, the documentary charts the journey from graduate applicant through to pitching to the UK Games Fund. Selected teams were followed closely by the crew with regular updates shared over the course of the competition.
Deborah Farley, Head of Talent and Outreach at UKGTF, said:
“Watching the Tranzfuser story unfold on the big screen was quite an experience!
“Capturing the highs (and lows) of working to such a tight deadline, the film focuses on several teams from across the UK. Our audiences experienced first-hand the teams’ passion for their work, witnessed the sacrifice and the commitment needed to succeed in the games development industry and had a bird’s-eye view of the tremendous work that goes on behind the scenes in making games .
“The enthusiasm and energy is brilliantly depicted in the documentary; people left the screenings both re-invigorated about the up-and-coming talent in the industry and excited to follow the teams’ progress.”
The documentary will be available for wider viewing in the near future.
Details of the Tranzfuser 2018 competition will be published when available.
